Man's soul is the Lord's Lamp (Proverbs 20:27 Mishle King Solomon)

The soul in his midst testifies concerning him in judgment [Rashi]  Just as a person searches in the dark with a lamp, so does G-d search a person's innermost thoughts through his soul, which knows all and testifies concerning him in judgment. [Mezudath David]
Rabbenu Yonah
explains that man is honored by G-d with the possession of a holy soul, which emanates from on high, and therefore he is subject to His closest scrutiny to the extent that He searches man's innermost thoughts.  Hence, in effect, the soul of man is G-d's lamp, the enabler of G-d's scrutiny over him.

The Lubuvitcher Rebbe once explained to a student of Torah who was, at the time also learning Geometry and wondering how Torah could be related to "everything" as he was taught.  He said, the radius of a circle (the distance halfway across a circle) can fit 6 times into a circle, just as having or making Shabbos lets us have the six days of the week; six days of the week come from Shabbos.  (See the 6 radii in the circles between the ten letters?)

A Very Narrow Bridge Gesher Tzar Ma-od

Rabbi Nachman Breslover said, "It's a very narrow bridge and the thing is to not be afraid."

Psalm 1
Fortunate is the one who has not walked in the counsel of the wicked
and in the way of the sinful he has not stood
and in the seat of the scornful he has not sat.
But only in the Torah of Adonoy is his desire,
and in his Torah he meditates say and night.
He will be like a tree set into the ground near streams of water,
which yields its fruit in its season,
and whose leaf does not wither;
and in whatever he does he will succeed.
Not so the wicked who are like the chaff
which the wind drives away.
Therefore, the wicked will not stand up in judgment,
nor the sinful in the assembly of the righteous.
For Adonoy regards the way of the righteous,
and the way of the wicked will be lost.

Psalm 150 - Praise G-d.  Praise the Almighty in His sanctuary.  Praise G-d in the firmament of His might.  Praise Him for His mighty deeds, praise Him according the abundance of His greatness.  Praise Him with lyre and harp.  Praise Him with drum and dance.  Praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.  Praise Him with resounding cymbals.  Praise Him with clanging cymbals. Let every soul praise God.  Praise God.
